Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel (born on the 2nd of December, 1968), is an American actress. Her role includes daytime television or episodic guest appearances and television-produced movies. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap production The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.




 Early life


 Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), a psychology professor, and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox rabbi.




 She and her brother moved with David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in 1970. When Sofer was five years old, they remained in Western Pennsylvania. They were raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then attended Montclair State College.




 Career


 Daytime television


 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as a band manager. The first time she was seen was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap drama Loving.
